FOUNDING TEAM
The Open Theatre Group was founded by two enthusiasts: Teja Pahor and Sasha Hajzler. They provide the organizational and creative background for the group, but at the end of the day, it is the workshop participants who make up the strongest part of the foundation for the work of the Open Theatre.

Sasha Hajzler
Sasha Hajzler, born on the seventh, resting day of the month of October, gave off her first call of the wild to this world in the distant Chernobyl-stained year of 1986. Born and raised in Skopje, this is also where she was first introduced to the world of classical and experimental theatre. She participated in various amateur theatre projects throughout her youth and made her own imprint on a few productions as assistant-director as well. She attended classes at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, volunteered at the Drama Theatre for a few years, after which she migrated to Slovenia. As of 2008, she has been living and working in Ljubljana. She participated in a few plays and workshops, danced, worked at the Theatre Museum of Slovenia and is a founder of the Open Theatre group along with Teja Pahor.

Teja Pahor
Teja is known as a girl full of energy and was born on the first of July in 1986. She was raised in a small town near Ljubljana, called Vrhnika. Her first experience with acting was in her early years, back when she was only 10 years old, but somehow her life went in a different way, a bit away from the cultural sphere: she studied at Faculty of Economics. However, she always knew that her heart also belongs to more expressive, artistic fields. She likes to entertain people with her singing, dancing and creativity. Because of a lack of amateur theater groups in Ljubljana, she decided to take things into her own hands. This is how she began to fulfill her dreams of expressing herself in a way that complements her soul. Along the way she met Sasha and their common working platform got its name, thereby completing the heart and soul of the brand-new experimental theatre group- the Open Theatre.
