Open Theatre is an experimental theatre group founded and located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We aim to establish a connection between conventional and experimental acting techniques and theatrical methods, create a bond between audiences, professionals and other drama enthusiasts and generate a web of informative and applicative devices through our open-participation policy, where everybody can just decide to join and actively or passively participate in the OT workshops at any time. The intent of our open structure is to explore how such a collaborative wide-ranging process that includes both traditional theatrical methods and explores characters (and inner traits of characters) influences the overall understanding of theatre and dramatic acting in participants.

 

The collaborative participation workshops are thus creating an open space where everyone can explore their relationship to an individual character, feeling, literary work, partial or full work process, etc.
